Jane Jones Hunsucker

Jane Jones Hunsucker, age 84, of Asheboro passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Randolph Hospice House.  

Mrs. Hunsucker was born in Coleridge on July 16, 1937 to James Albert and Adell Poole Jones.  She retired from the Asheboro High School cafeteria and was a member of West Asheboro Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hunsucker.

She is survived by her daughter, Veronica Jane Bowman and husband Gene of Asheboro; and son, Galen Richard Hunsucker and wife Lisa Rankin-Hunsucker of Wilmington.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 1:30-2:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro.  Funeral services will follow on Monday at 2:30 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Williams officiating.  Burial will be held in Oaklawn Cemetery.
