Jane Frances Grimsley

Jane Frances Eames "Janie" Grimsley, age 80, died Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mrs.Grimsley was born June 18, 1931 the daughter of Frank and Sara Eames. The Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro with Dr. Buddy Smith officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service. Janie was a native of Philadelphia, PA and retired after 25 years from Beltone Hearing Aid Center of Asheboro. She was a member of First Baptist Church but was attending Faith Temple Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Dr. Walter Grimsley and one daughter: Susan Grimsley Caviness. She is survived by son: Walter Grimsley of West Palm Beach, FL; son: Frank Grimsley: of Eluethra, Bahamas; daughter and her husband: Barbara and Lee Kearns of Asheboro, NC; daughter and her husband: Sara and Bob Jarvis of Salisbury, NC; son and his wife: Alan and Wendy Grimsley of Randleman, NC; son: Chris Grimsley of Asheboro, NC; granddaughter and her husband: Jessica and Patrick Gilmore of Tampa, FL; grandson: Jake Grimsley of Daytona Beach, FL; granddaughter: Brittany Saunders of Salisbury, NC; grandson: Dustin Grimsley of Asheboro; granddaughter: Katie Grimsley of Randleman, NC; and grandson: Alan Lee Grimsley of Randleman, NC and her mother-in-law; Doris Saunders Grimsley of Troy. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Carolina Piedmont Chapter, 3420 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215.
