Jane Hill Brown

Jane Hill Brown, age 63, of 1324 Seven Lakes North, West End died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst. Mrs. Brown was a native of Guilford County and was a member of Hopewell Friends Meeting. She formerly owned and operated an in-home child daycare center and was a salesperson for Christmas Around the World. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles D. Hill and Callie Powers Hill, son, James Edward "Jimmy" Steere and brother, Charles Thomas "Tommy" Hill. She is survived by her husband: Maxwell Brown; daughters: Marla Morfin and her husband Art of West End, NC, Laura Brown of Southern Pines, NC; three sisters: Janet Henley, Deborah Robbins and Sharon McIntosh all of Asheboro, NC; one brother: Larry Hill of Asheboro, NC; and grandchildren: Blake Steere, Tia Steere, Brandon Morfin, Timmy Morfin, Cali Morfin, Julian Barthalow, and Jaylan Addison. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:00 pm at Hopewell Friends Meeting, 2244 Hopewell Friends Road, Asheboro, with Pastor Randy Parris and Bob Laughlin officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00- 2:30 pm in the meeting fellowship hall. Burial will be in Hopewell Friends Meeting Cemetery.
