James Robert Weary, Sr.

James "Jim" Robert Weary, Sr., age 74, of Asheboro passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation. Mr. Weary was born in Bradford, PA on December 6, 1941 to John Weary, Sr. and Gladys Deming Weary. He was retired as a livestock salesman and attended Rock of Faith Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his daughters Sheri Weary and Sandra Kelly and brothers Jerry Weary and Richard Deming. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Davis Weary of the home; sons, Robert Weary, Sr. and wife Amber of Seagrove, NC, James Weary, Jr. of Mayville, NY, Keith Weary and wife Wendy of Camden, SC, Kevin Weary of Mayville, NY, Steve Weary of Camden, SC; greater than 20 grandchildren; brother, John Weary, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 1:00 pm at West Asheboro Baptist Church, 831 Uwharrie Street, Asheboro with Rev. Rocky Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
