James W. Parks

James W. "Dub" Parks, age 71, of 1152 Forest Oaks Dr., Asheboro died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at his home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery with Pastor Wyatt Hoogkamp officiating. Mr. Parks was a native of Randolph County and was retired from Stedman Manufacturing/Sara Lee with over 30 years of service. Dub attended High Pine Wesleyan Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty S. Parks; sons, Jeffrey Parks of Asheboro, Greg Parks and his wife Rebecca of Asheboro; grandchildren, Brandon Tyler Parks, Taylor Lee Parks, Brooke Parks, Tyler Parks, and Wesley Parks all of Asheboro; mother, Helen Williamson Parks of Asheboro; brothers, Odell Parks of Asheboro, Verdell Parks of Lemoore, CA, and Pete Parks of Asheboro.
