James Clyde O'Neal, age 79, of Randleman died Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Mr. O'Neal was born May 28, 1936 the son of Curley and Evelyn Wolfe O'Neal. James was a native of Surry County and of Methodist faith. He retired from Overnight Transportation and was formerly a Boy Scout Leader. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Gray O'Neal and sister-in-law Judy O'Neal.
He is survived by his daughter: Vickie Skeen (Everette); son: Tony O'Neal (Ginger) both of Randleman; 7 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sibling: Buster O'Neal (Illa Mae), Dorothy Joyner (Eugene), Darrell O'Neal, and Wayne O'Neal all of Dobson, Elizabeth George (Jack) of Westfield; mother of his children: Mary Frances O'Neal of Randleman.
The family will receive friends Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Level Cross United Methodist Church, 10142 U.S. Hwy. 220 Bus. N., Randleman, NC. A memorial service will at 3:00 pm with Rev. Jim Raynes, Pastor Jason Stanley and Pastor Jeff Morgan. officiating.
