James Edward Mills, age 82, of 239 Trotter Lane, Asheboro died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Mr. Mills was born February 18, 1930 the son of James Alexander and Agnes Gertrude Ledbetter Mills. Mr. Mills was a native of Montgomery County and US Navy veteran. He is a retired electrician after 25 years of service with IBEW of Winston Salem. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sisters: Frances Walls of Walkertown and Pauline McNeill of Biscoe. He is survived by his wife: Linda Trotter Mills, daughter: Sharron Crickmore and her husband, Charles of Asheboro, grandchildren: Charlie and Corey Crickmore both of Asheboro; sisters: Agnes Spivey of Seagrove, Helen McKinnon of Mt.Gilead, and Linda Parson of Star; brothers: Frank Mills of PA and Sammy Mills of W. VA. The family will receive friends Monday, October 15, 2012 from 12:00 - 1:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral service will be held Monday, October 15, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Brent Tysinger officiating.
