James Michael Steele

James Michael "Mike" Steele, age 63, of Archdale died Monday, March 3, 2014 at High Point Regional Hospital, High Point. Mr. Steele was born February 12, 1951 in Asheboro to Luther and Hazel Isley Steele. He attended Trinity High School and was formerly employed with Adams Wood Turning of High Point. In addition to his parents, Mr. Steele was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Steele. He is survived by son, Jamie Steele; sisters, Frances Rose and husband Carlyle of Clinton, Shirley Potts of Archdale; brother, Luther Steele of Archdale; 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Hall officiating. A committal service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
