James Edward Maness

James Edward "Jimmy" Maness, age 56, of 730 Gold Hill Rd., Asheboro died Monday, March 31, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Lois Johnson officiating. Mr. Maness was a native of Lexington, was a 1970 graduate of Asheboro High School and was formerly employed with Cookson Fibers in Asheboro. He is survived by his wife, Sue Efird Maness, daughters, Tina Tunstall and her husband Charles of Loris, SC, Mary Beth Maness of the home; sons, James Ray Maness and his wife Margery of Randleman, NC, Jonathan Michael Maness of the home, Chris Maness and his wife Jessica of Randleman, NC; 2 grandchildren; sisters, Linda Maness of Asheboro, NC, and Carol Maness of Asheboro, NC and mother-in-law, Onarah Efird. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
