James Arbren Lindsay, Jr., age 60, of Asheboro died Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Lindsay was born October 3, 1954 in Charlotte to James Arbren Lindsay, Sr. and Betty Hucks Lindsay. He was a 1972 graduate of Harding High School and retired from Nationwide Homes in Martinsville, VA. Mr. Lindsay was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Rush Lindsay; daughter, Katherine Lindsay of Asheboro; step-son, Rodney Brown and wife Renetta of Randleman; grandchildren, Jude and Anderson Lindsay; sisters, Diane Abernathy, Lynn Lindsay and companion Eddie Little, Billie Manning and husband Steve, Jane Debruhl and husband Greg all of Charlotte; sister-in-law, Joan Hurley of Asheboro, nieces, Michelle, Jennifer, Heather, Amy, Stephanie and Shelly; and nephew, Alan Hurley and wife Phyllis.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, August 7, 2015 at Freedom Life Church of God, 116 Sunrise Ave., Asheboro with Rev. Benjamin T. Chavis officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
