James Norman Hoover

James Norman Hoover, age 90, of Randleman died Monday, February 26, 2018 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

James was a native of Randolph County. He enjoyed gardening, working in the yard and working on vehicles. James had a true servants heart, always willing to help others.

He is survived by his nephews, Mike Turner and wife Conni of Jefferson City, TN, Larry Turner of Eden, Joey Turner and wife Rebecca of Randleman and David Archer; nieces, Renee Gilliland and husband Jay of Randleman, Mary Faye Cagle and Vickie Bowman of Randleman;brother-in-law Joel Turner and wife Jean of Randleman; great nieces, Jenny Lambert and husband Jake of Asheville, Amanda Johnson and husband Kyle of Wilmington and Ashley Layton of Randleman; great nephews, Josh Turner and wife Kristi of Seymour, TN., Hogan Turner and wife Emily of South Hill, VA., and Adam Gilliland of Randleman.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 in the chapel with Rev. Darrell Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
