James "Tony" Hardister, Sr., age 62, of 5542 Chatham Woods Ct., Orlando, FL died Friday, July 24, 2009 at his home.Mr. Hardister was born June 6, 1947 in Asheboro, NC, the son of the late Bettle Clarence Hardister and the late Nellie (Lawson) Hardister.He was a graduate of Pheiffer College and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was the CEO of the National Association of Credit Management in Orlando, FL and was an avid "Carolina" fan. He is survived by his wife: Nancy "Lee" Hardister; Daughters: Sherri Hardister Cooper of Apopka, FL and Cathy "Annie" Hardister of Overland Park, KS; Son: James Tony Hardister, Jr. of Liberty, NC; Step daughter, Angela Moyer Noel; Step Sons, Jeffrey Moyer, Douglas Moyer, Nicholas Banion, and Aaron Banion; 21 grandchildren; Sister: Sharon Hardister Robbins of Asheboro, NC; and Brother: Jerry Hardister of Rock Hill, SC.The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 28, 2009 from Noon-1:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel in Asheboro with Rev.
