James Lee Hall, Jr. age 86, of 1066 Worthville Rd., Randleman died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Hall was a native of Randolph County and a World War II Army Veteran. James was retired from Nixon-Reynolds Hosiery of Randleman and a member of The Bluegrass Band.
He is survived by his wife: Blanche Hall, of the home; daughters: Jane Kearns of Asheboro, Betty Hall and Ellen Hall both of Texas; step son, Neal Smith of High Point; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters: Edith Matthew of Greensboro, and Jean Johnson of Concord, NC.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 5, 2010 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Solid Rock Baptist Church, 2206 Wicker-Lovell Road, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of Jane Kearns, 377 Chaney Rd. in Asheboro. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the church with Rev. Perry Brown officiating. Burial will be held at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, Randleman with Military Honors provided by Randolph County Honor Guard. Following the Burial, there will be a meal served at the Solid Rock Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
