James Clarence (J.C.) Farlow, Jr., age 86, of 311 High Point St., Randleman died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
J.C. was born September 27, 1926 in High Point the son of James Clarence and Carrie Farlow. He was a lifelong resident of Randolph County and served in the US Army during WWII. J.C. worked at Malt-O-Meal as a security guard and retired from A&F Vending and Tom's Foods. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Eades Farlow; brother, Frank Farlow and sister, Peggy Redding.
He is survived by one son: Jimmy Farlow and his wife Shirley of Randleman; one daughter: Libby Humble and her husband Dale of Liberty; grandchild, Chris Lewis and his wife Shannon of Kokomo, IN; 2 great grandchildren, Cooper and Conner of Kokomo, In.; sister: Evelyn Farlow; sister-in-law, Celia Kidd; special nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 19, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 11:00 am at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Military Honors performed by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
