James Odell Deese

James Odell Deese, age 83, formerly of Pittsboro died Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Carillon Assisted Living of Asheboro. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Deese was retired from Chatham Mills in Pittsboro and was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth, Judy, and Louise. He is survived by his sons, Ronald Deese and his wife Helena of Asheboro, NC, Danny Deese and his wife Phyllis of Asheboro, NC; daughter, Elizabeth Deese of Gastonia, NC; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The Deese family gives special thanks to the staff of Carillon Assisted Living, and especially to Tina Martin, for all of their support and care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009. Arrangements are by Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro.
