James Boyd Culler, age 81, of Randleman died Thursday, November 23, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Culler was born August 30, 1936 the son of Thomas and Ada Bishop Culler. James was a native of Randolph County and had been formerly employed with J.P. Stevens, Jockey and the City of Asheboro. He took great pride in his vegetable garden, enjoyed being on the tractor. He was an outdoors man and loved telling stories. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his son James "Jimmy" Boyd Culler, Jr., and 7 siblings.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Margaret R. Culler of the home; son: Wayne Culler and wife Linda of Franklinville; daughter: Janice Culler of Asheboro; 4 grandchildren: Jessica Onofre, Amber Culler-Cruz, Ashley Hausler and Chris Culler; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 27, 2017 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11:00 am at Full Gospel Bible Church of God, 736 W. Main St., Franklinville with Pastor Terry Bachlor officiating.
