James Aloysius Conley, age 62, of 108 Tremont Drive, Asheboro died Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Hinkle Hospice House, Lexington.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 1:00-1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Father Christopher Davis officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Conley was a native of Jersey City, NJ and was a US Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam War. James was a retired forklift operator with ABC Building Supply, Inc. in Greensboro, NC and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Conley; daughters, Lynne Testa of Holly Springs, NC, and Jean Ann Huntley of Colfax, NC; grandchildren, Edward John Testa and Samantha Brynn Huntley; sister, Geraldine Owens of South Carolina and brother, Joseph Conley of Scottsville, VA.
