James "Jim" Leonard Coble, Sr., age 88, of Randleman died Tuesday, July 1, 2014
Mr. Coble was born August 15, 1925 the son of Jesse and Ollie Coble. He was a native of Flint, MI and served in the US Navy during WWII. Jim was the owner of Coble Realty for over 50 years and was an accountant. He was a graduate of High Point College and a member of First Baptist Church in Randleman. Jim was also a member of the Oasis Shriners, A & A Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, the American Legion of Flint-Post and the Balfour Lodge and an avid bird hunter. Jim is preceded in death by his son Terry Coble.
He is survived by his wife: Marie Daniels Coble, of the home; son; Jim Coble, Jr. and his wife Rachel Ann Williams of Asheboro; grandchildren: Jay and Jon Coble of Asheville, Renee Coble of Asheboro; Beth Eckstein and her husband Scott of Owensboro, KY., and Allison Coble of Raleigh; brother: Wayne Coble and his wife Nancy of Randleman.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 4, 2014 from 10:30 to 11:45 at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 in the Chapel, with Pastor Chris Heppding officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
