James Leonard Coble

James "Jim" Leonard Coble, Sr., age 88, of Randleman died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 Mr. Coble was born August 15, 1925 the son of Jesse and Ollie Coble. He was a native of Flint, MI and served in the US Navy during WWII. Jim was the owner of Coble Realty for over 50 years and was an accountant. He was a graduate of High Point College and a member of First Baptist Church in Randleman. Jim was also a member of the Oasis Shriners, A & A Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, the American Legion of Flint-Post and the Balfour Lodge and an avid bird hunter. Jim is preceded in death by his son Terry Coble. He is survived by his wife: Marie Daniels Coble, of the home; son; Jim Coble, Jr. and his wife Rachel Ann Williams of Asheboro; grandchildren: Jay and Jon Coble of Asheville, Renee Coble of Asheboro; Beth Eckstein and her husband Scott of Owensboro, KY., and Allison Coble of Raleigh; brother: Wayne Coble and his wife Nancy of Randleman. The family will receive friends Friday, July 4, 2014 from 10:30 to 11:45 at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 in the Chapel, with Pastor Chris Heppding officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 100 North Main St., Randleman, NC 27317. Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman is serving the Coble family.
