James Russell Brady, Jr.

James Russell Brady, Jr., age 71, of 206 Balsam Circle, Troy died Monday, December 21, 2009 at his home. Mr. Brady was a native of Randolph County and a graduate of Randleman High School and Central Wesleyan College. He was the retired pastor of Lexington First Wesleyan Church and Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Mission where he was a member. Mr. Brady was the current director of The Wesleyan Homes 1& 2 of Troy. He is survived by daughter: Teresa Joy "Terrie" Brady of Badin, NC; sons: James Russell "Jim" Brady, III and Lee S. Brady both of Lexington, NC; mother, Lucille Ingold Brady, of Randleman; 4 grandchildren; sisters: Toby Williams of Sophia, NC, Nancy Talbert, and Lynn Hudson both of Randleman, NC; brother: Wayne Brady of Randleman, NC. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 27, 2009 from 1:00 - 2:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 PM with Rev. Bob G. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
