Jacqueline Johnson "Jackie" Lamb, age 78, of Asheboro died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at her home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Farmer Missionary Baptist Church, 4566 Dunbar Bridge Rd., Asheboro with Pastor Keith Letterman, Pastor Troy Carter, Pastor Arlen Johnson, and Pastor Neil Poole officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Lamb was born in Davidson County on October 11, 1936 to O.C. and Gladys Sink Johnson. She was a member of Farmer Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her sons Mike, Jeff, and Brian Lamb and brothers Bob and Roy Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Lamb; daughters, Mona Bravo and husband Fernando of Sophia, Evelyn Lamb and husband Kenneth of Asheboro, Alice Deaver and husband Keith of Broken Arrow, OK, Pamela Hurley and husband Bryan of Asheboro; sons, Greg Lamb of Fancy Gap, VA, Mark Lamb and wife Lisa of Randleman, Jason Lamb and wife Andi of Asheboro; 23 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Lynn Lamb of Troy, Suzanne Lamb of Seagrove; and best friend, Jeanette Reeder of Asheboro.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro and other times at her home.
