Jacqueline Bland "Jackie" Hodgin, age 78, of Randleman died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.
Miss. Hodgin was born January 30, 1937 the daughter of J.C and Bonnie Davis Hodgin.
Jacqueline was a native of Randolph County and a member of Level Cross United Methodist Church. She had worked in various textiles for 45 years. Jacqueline was an avid reader with a great memory for what she had read and the special gift for remembering birthdays, and wedding anniversaries. She loved her cat Lucky. In addition to her parents, Jacqueline is preceded in death by her brothers Jerry Clinton Hodgin and Baby Hodgin and niece Ann Hodgin.
She is survived by her brothers: Harold Hodgin of Randleman, and Johnny Hodgin of Sophia; sister: Joyce Draughn of Asheboro; niece and caregiver:, Gwen Bowman (Rick) of Randleman; nieces and nephews: Kim King (Donnie) of Trinity, Timothy Hodgin (Erin) of Randleman, Lee Draughn (Amy) of Cary, Jerry Hodgin (Anita) of Dobson and Jill Druck (Jeremiah); several great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 30, 2015 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 119 W. River Drive, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the church with Rev. Carol Hunter officiating. Burial will be held at Level Cross United Methodist Church Cemetery, Randleman.
