Jacqueline Godfrey

Jacqueline "Jackie" Ann Godfrey, age 68, of Randleman died Monday, May 30, 2011 at her home Mrs. Godfrey was a native of Guilford County and worked as a CNA. She was an avid reader and gardener. Jackie was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her father Willard Brandon, mother, Jeraline Thomas and husband, Edwin Godfrey. She is survived by two daughters: Christy Carter of Randleman, and Jacqueline M. Alton of the home; and one son: Todd Helms and his wife, Donna of Randleman; brother: Willard Brandon of Brown Summit; grandchildren, Emily Williams and her husband, Chad of Elon; Joshua Carter of Greensboro, Amber Carter of Randleman, Paris Yeatts of Randleman, and Chaz Helms of Randleman; great grandchild, Gavin Williams of Elon; canine friend, Stevie. The family will receive friends at the home of Jackie Alton. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Greensboro.
