Jackie Wright

Jacqueline "Jackie" Wright, age 74, of Randleman died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Freedom Life Church, 116 Sunrise Ave., Asheboro with Rev. Benjamin T. Chavis officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Asheboro. Ms. Wright was a native of Randolph County, NC and was a member of Freedom Life Church. She was a waitress for 35 years and was currently employed with Technimark. She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Needham and her mother, Mary Wright. Jackie loved her church and was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Dale Earnhardt, Sr. She was a loving mother and will be missed by her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Carl Wright and his wife Kathy of Asheboro, NC; daughters, Pam Purvis and her husband Randy of Asheboro, NC; Phyllis Marion and her husband Charles of Randleman, NC; Pat Brundage of Asheboro, NC; Donna Grooms and her husband Jack of Lexington, NC; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Movida Fuller of Asheboro, NC and brothers, James Wright of Mosley, VA and J.B. Wright of Orlando, FL. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 1, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home of Pam and Randy Purvis, 1169 Skyline Dr., Asheboro.
