Jack Blease "Buddy" Wright

Jack Blease "Buddy" Wright, Jr., age 63, of Randleman passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

Mr. Wright was born May 25, 1955, the son of Jack Blease Wright, Sr. and Armeta Robbins Wright Tompkins, who has preceded him in death.

Jack, better known as "Buddy" was a native of Randolph County and attended City of Refuge Worship Center. Buddy was formerly employed with Charlie's Package Store and had worked for several others convenience stores in the Randleman area. He also had been employed a security guard for Perdue Chicken plant. Buddy had a passion for fishing, especially at Sunset Beach, huge NASCAR fan and loved joking with everyone.

Buddy is survived by his former wife: Carol M. Wright of Randleman; stepson: Thomas Teal of Asheboro; sister: Donna Staley of Randleman; niece: Ellen (Jeff) Lucas and their children all of Randleman and extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Pastor Joe Farlow officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
