Jack Rodney Tilley

Jack Rodney Tilley, age 84, of Randleman died Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Cross Road Retirement Community, Asheboro. Mr. Tilley was born August 5, 1936 the son of William and Lacy Edwards Tilley Jack was a native of Guilford County and served in the US Navy. He loved his naval service years and still kept in touch with his unit. He retired from Goodyear and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and enjoyed planting flowers and building benches for the Church. He loved his mother and beautiful wife. He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Mary Cooper Tilley of the home; son: Thomas & Kim Tilley of Randleman; grandson, Matthew & Kelsey Tilley of Randleman; granddaughter, Marissa & Eli Callicutt of Ramseur; great grandsons, Bentley and Easton Tilley and Levi Callicutt; sister, Doris Simmons of Marietta, Ga.; step grandchildren: Brittany & Zach Culler of Greensboro, and Kourtney & Brian Tucker of Randleman; 6 step great grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Cupcake. The family will receive friends Friday, December 4, 2020 from 1:30-2:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Pastor Johnny Miles officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Home Care & Hospice, 533 S. Fayetteville St., Asheboro, NC 27203.
