J.T. Hurley

J. T. Hurley, age 76, of 779 Dawson Miller Rd., Asheboro died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston- Salem. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11:00 am at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. Garland Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Mr. Hurley was a native of Randolph County and a Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was formerly employed with Bossong Hosiery and Klaussner Industries. Mr. Hurley was preceded in death by his sisters, Tula Hurley, Kathleen Beane, Onnie Callicutt, Melvia Hurley and brother Ted Honney. He is survived by daughter, Lynn Weisner and her husband Jim of Greensboro; sons, Greg Hurley and his wife Jennifer of Greensboro, Cody Alan Kearns of Asheboro; brothers, Arthur Hurley of Asheboro, David Hurley of Asheboro, Dempsey Hurley of Wilmington, Eugene Clyette Hurley of Asheboro; sisters, Gladys Ruth Scott, Maxilee Callicutt, Doris Shaw all of Asheboro; several nieces and nephews.
