Isabelle Routh Hunt, age 88, of Randleman died Sunday, May 4, 2014 at North Pointe Assisted Living Community, Randleman.
Mrs. Hunt was born July 25, 1925 the daughter of Walter and Fannie Routh. Isabelle was a native of Randolph County and a member of First Wesleyan Church Randleman. She was a loving, patient, longsuffering individual and the glue that held the family together. Her family was her priority. In addition to her parents, Isabelle is preceded in death by her husband, John Hunt; son, Henry Hunt; great grand daughter, Amanda Sweatt; brothers, Wesley and Benny Routh; sisters, Marie Routh and Lucille Ingold.
She is survived by three daughters: Bessie Adams, Juanita Moran and her husband Clarence and Delores Atkins and her husband Robert all of Randleman; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; sisters: Hilda Underwood, Blanch Cox, Mary Ethel Alexander.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 6, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 2:00 pm at First Wesleyan Church, 125 Tabernacle St., Randleman with Rev. Don Hurlburt and Rev. Darrell Sauls officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
