Irene Stuart Wallace

Irene Stuart Wallace, age 92, of 1308 Old Cox Rd., Asheboro died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. J. Harold Hammond officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Wallace was a native of Randolph County, a member of First Baptist Church and retired from Sears. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred C. Wallace. She is survived by daughter, Carol Schneider and her husband Frank of Atlanta, GA; sons, Norman Wallace and his wife Edna of San Rafael, CA, David Wallace and his wife Bonnie of Greensboro, NC, Neal Wallace of Conway, SC; 2 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Frances Fields of Siler City, NC.
