Irene Davis Gallimore

Irene Hazel Davis Gallimore, age 87, of 223 Fountain Rd., Troy died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Montgomery Memorial Hospital, Troy. Mrs. Gallimore was born July 25, 1924 at Biscoe, NC, the daughter of John Frank and Elizabeth Dunn Davis. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack Lang, sister Catherine Davis Boyld and son-in-law, Spencer Morton She is survived by one daughter: Ann Lang Morton of Troy; one son: Gordon Thomas Lang of Charlotte; grandchildren: Roxanne M. Carter (Fred) of Apex, NC, Michael Morton of Troy, NC, Donna Gay Beane (Jerry) of Biscoe, NC, Vickie M. Lowder (Ashley) of Charleston, SC, Christopher Morton of Star, NC, Jennifer Morton Thompson (Terry) of Troy, NC; 18 great-grandchildren; loving nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors; special caregiver: Charlene Whitt. The family will receive friends Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 from 12:30 pm - 1:45pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 N Main St., Troy; other times at the home. The funeral will be Monday at 2 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Holyfield officiating. Burial will be in Biscoe Cemetery, Biscoe.
