Irene Joyce Burrow, age 88, of 307 Liberty Street, Asheboro died Friday, April 10, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leslie N. Winslow and Rev. Pat Thames officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.Mrs. Burrow was a native of Stokes County and was a member of Asheboro Friends Meeting. She was the owner/operator of Superior Dry Cleaning and was preceded in death by her husband, Obert C. Burrow, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Evelyn B. Harris of Norfolk, VA, Lillian B. Jordan and her husband Tom Jordan of Randleman, NC; son, O. C. Burrow, Jr. and his wife Shelly Burrow of Asheboro, NC; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild; sisters-in-law, Lillian Burrow Brown of Salisbury, NC and Dorothy Burrow Judd of Asheboro, NC.The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 12, 2009 from 1:30 PM-2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
