Inez Reynolds Hamilton

Inez Reynolds Hamilton, age 90, of Randolph Health and Rehabilitation Center, Asheboro, formerly of Troy, died Monday, February 22, 2010 at the center. Mrs. Hamilton was born April 10, 1919 in Troy, NC the daughter of Newton and Annie (Morris) Reynolds. She was a member of Troy Wesleyan Church where she was a member of the Ladies Missionary Society Group and a Sunday School teacher. She was a former employee of Capel Rug Mill of Troy and the Brian Center of Asheboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alcon Hamilton, son, Joseph Vaughn Hamilton and daughter, Ann H. Thompson. She is survived by one daughter: Lucy H. Hall and husband, Norman of Norman; three sons: Rev. Ron Hamilton and wife, Ruth of Asheboro, Allen Hamilton and wife, Linda of Thomasville, Roger Hamilton and wife, Carol of Norman; one sister, Jeanette Russell of Troy; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Troy Wesleyan Church, 842 Ophir Ave., Troy with Rev. James Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Love Joy United Methodist Church Cemetery, Substation Road, Troy. Memorials may be made to Troy Wesleyan Church, 842 Ophir Ave., Troy, NC 27371.
