ASHEBORO - Ina G. Hunter, 64.
Ina made her final road trip with her "signature wave" on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. She was born June 28, 1949 in Sanford, NC to William Godfrey of Sanford and the late Earline Stone.
Her love for travel took her to 48 states, sporting a personalized license plate which read: 'Ina Go !'. She loved the sound of a slot machine and even more loved to yell "BINGO".
She passed away at the Moses H. Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC. She lived in Randleman, NC and is survived by her husband of 32 years, Tommy Hunter, 2 sons; Tracey Maynor of Dallas, TX and Chris Maynor of Randleman, 2 daughters; Delisa Beaulieu of Biscoe, NC and Kelley Hunter of Shreveport, LA and stepdaughter Misty King of Indiana. She was also survived by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
She had 8 grandkids; 4 grandsons and 4 granddaughters, Kellam Maynor, Morgan Beaulieu, Tracey Beaulieu, Amber Maynor, Austin Maynor, Kristen Chappell, Collin Douglas and Bobby Douglas.
Services will be held at Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro, NC on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11 am. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the New Hope Bereavement Center, 137 South Park St., Asheboro to celebrate Ina's life from 12:00-3:00 pm.
