Ila Robbins Beane

Ila Robbins Beane, age 88, of 116 Drexel Court, Rocky Mount died Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Heritage Hospital, Tarboro. Mrs. Beane was a native of Randleman and a graduate of Randleman High School. Ila became a cosmetologist after graduating from Troutman Beauty College and later was the owner and operator of Ila's Beauty Shop. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Randleman and attended William and Mary Hart Presbyterian Church in Tarboro. Mrs. Beane was preceded in death by her husband: John Tarton Beane, her parents: Williard and Mary Robbins and five sisters. She is survived by her daughter: Angela Beane McCracken and her husband Rev. Dr. Ronn McCracken of Rocky Mount, grandson: Steven McCracken and his wife, Beverly of Roxboro, great grandson: Dustin Hatcher of Roxboro; one brother: Williard C. Robbins of Greensboro and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to 2:00 PM funeral service at First Baptist Church, 100 North Main Street, Randleman, NC. with Rev. Dr. Ronn McCracken and Pastor Chris Heppding officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
