Howard Henry Ingold, age 64, of Asheboro died Monday, November 21, 2011 at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 25, 2011 at 11:00 am at Randolph Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Kim Snyder officiating. Entombment will follow with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Mr. Ingold was born and raised in Randolph County and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He attended First Assembly of God Church and retired from Sara Lee/Hanes Brand. Mr. Ingold was an avid NASCAR fan as well as a Carolina Panthers and Carolina Tarheel fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, keeping up with current events and the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Lucas Ingold; son, Ronnie Ingold of Randleman; daughters, Cristie I. Hammer of Ramseur, Tammy I. Sedberry and her husband Dennis of Troy; step-sons, Aaron Charles Beane and his wife Andrea of Charlotte, Lucas Dayton Beane of Greensboro; grandchildren, Johnthan Paul Ingold, Elizabeth Routh Ingold, MacKenzie Leigh Ingold, Joseph Franklin Ingold, Lynsay Paige Dixon, Lauryn Elisabeth Hammer, Justin Dale Sedberry, Jacob Austin Sedberry; great grandchild, Cameron Dale Sedberry; sister: Edith Thompson and her husband Dempsey of Asheboro; brother, Harvey Ingold and his wife Lula of Randleman.
