Howard Alton Beck, Jr.

Howard Alton Beck, Jr., age 71, of Asheboro passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at his home Mr. Beck was born in Asheboro on May 12, 1946 to Howard and Frances Chrisco Beck. Howard served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Beck retired, after 45 years, as owner/operator of Quality Construction in Asheboro. In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Martin Beck. He is survived by his son, Jeffery Beck and wife Lisa of Asheboro; daughter, Linda Kaye Robbins of Seagrove; stepdaughter, Donna Smith and husband Chris of Asheboro; grandchildren, Tanner Overman, Brittany Beck both of Asheboro, Ashley Beck of Cullowhee, Christian Dylan Smith, Kayla Smith both of Asheboro, Ryan Stultz of Wilmington, and Tyler Stultz of Oklahoma; and great granddaughter, Addy Johnson of Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Randolph SPCA, 300 W.
