Hester Bullins Collins

Hester Bullins Collins, age 81, died on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Pine Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Thomasville. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Shook officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Collins was born on April 16, 1932 to Wesley and Alverda Lou Bullins. She attended Bailey's Grove Baptist Church and was an Avon Representative for over 30 years. In addition to her parents, Hester was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Collins, son Randy Collins, and brothers Junior and Jim Bullins. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Collins of Winston-Salem, Vanessa Powers of Asheboro, Patricia Collins of Winston-Salem; sons, Harold Collins and his wife Martha of Sophia, Benny Collins and his wife Elaine of Asheboro; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and sister, Joyce Cornelison of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
