Herbert Hayden

On December 2, 2009, Herbert Hayden, age 83, went to sleep in the arms of Jesus at his home at 1304 Randolph Tabernacle Rd., Asheboro.Mr. Hayden was a retired sawmill operator. He was a loving, caring and selfless person to so many. Mr. Hayden was preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt and Hallie Hayden, brothers, Henry, Leonard and Raymond Hayden and sister Ruby Hayden Hill.He is survived by his brother, Emmitt "Early" Hayden of Asheboro; numerous nieces and nephews; the "Presnell Gang" and his special companion "Cinder" his little dog.The family will receive friends Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 10:00-11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating.
