Herbert Randolph Davis

Herbert Randolph "Randy" Davis, age 66, of Randleman died Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Woodland Hill Center, Asheboro. Mr. Davis was born in Guilford County on October 16, 1953 the son of Richard and Vida Powers Davis. Randy was a 1972 graduate of Randleman High School. He attended Appalachian State University, but transferred to UNC of Greensboro where he graduated with a bachelors degree in accounting. Randy later became a self-employed entrepreneur. Randy is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Janice Rumbley Davis of the home; daughters: Jennifer Watson and husband Richard of Randleman, and Monica Davis of Raleigh; sons: Chad Davis and wife Ashley of Randleman, and Tyler Davis of Charlotte; 5 grandchildren, Colby, Corbyn, Cayson, Conway, and Lestie Belle; brothers: Ron Davis and wife Cathy of Greensboro, Mike Davis and wife Carolyn of Randleman, Brant Davis and wife Trudy of Randleman and Greg Davis and wife Cathy of Randleman. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Cedar Square Friends Meeting, 7546 Harlow Rd., Archdale with Rev. Ricky Sessoms and Rev. Michael Fulp officiating.
