Henrietta Wright McNeill, age 67, of Asheboro, North Carolina, went to be with her Lord on September 29, 2017. "Henri" was born in Randolph County on March 17, 1950, to Alfred Wright and Epsie Coble Wright. She attended Ramseur High School, graduated in 1968 and continued her education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduating in 1970 with an associate's degree in dental hygiene.
On June 24, 1972 she married her soulmate, Eddie Howard McNeill, with whom she recently celebrated 45 wonderful years of marriage.
Henri is survived by her husband, Eddie McNeill, her sons, William Chad McNeill and Zachery McNeill, her grandchildren, Emma, Brock, Heidi, and Annie, her daughters-in-law, Donna Stepp McNeill and Melody McNeill, her brother-in-law Ricky McNeill and his wife, Sandy McNeill, her nephew, Jacob McNeill, her pet miniature poodle, EJ, and granddaughters by marriage, Christine and Catherine Underwood.
Henri worked for over 45 years as a dental hygienist in Asheboro, where she felt privileged to care for countless patients with her loving hands. She was a devout Christian, a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and loyal friend to so many. Henri will be deeply missed.
A memorial service celebrating Henri's life will be conducted Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro beginning at 3 PM with Reverend Leon Thompson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the service from 1 PM to 3 PM.
