Helen F Vanderhoek

Helen Fausett Vanderhoek, 92, of Jacksonville, Fla., passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017. She was born in Ocala, Fla. in 1924. She was a talented artist, a wonderful cook, a lover of antiques and a faithful member of St. Peters Episcopal Church of Orange Park, Fla. She never let a good cause defeat her. Survivors include her daughter, Kerry Wallace and husband Terry of Troy; two grandsons, Ben Wallace and wife Darla of Troy, Patrick Wallace of Salisbury; four great-grandchildren, Phillip Wallace, Daniel Wallace and Laura Wallace of Troy, and Stephanie of Phoenix, Ariz. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, March 5 at Forks of Little River Baptist Church Cemetery, Troy. There will be no visitation.. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Foundation of FirstHealth, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374. Pugh-Troy Funeral Home is serving the Vanderhoek Family
