Helen Lanier Taylor

Helen Lanier Taylor, age 84, of Randleman died Friday, March 8, 2013 at Mapel Grove Health & Rehab. Mrs. Taylor was a native of Randolph County and attended of First Wesleyan Church in Randleman. She retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company in Greensboro. Helen loved to travel and being in the outdoors. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Helen is preceded in death by her husband Jason Taylor, son Tim Taylor, parents Everette and Hallie Lanier, sister Lucille Skeen and brother Lawrence Lanier. She is survived by one son: Gary Taylor and his wife Shirley of Randleman; daughter-in-law Teresa Taylor of Randleman; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters: Sue L. Connor of Randleman and Margie Breitbach of Battle Creek, MI; brother: Allen Lanier and his wife Janice of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 12:30-1:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel with Rev. Alvin C. Newcomb and Rev. Don Hurlburt officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
