Helen Hawkins Robbins

Helen Estelle Hawkins Robbins, age 83, of Randleman died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mrs. Robbins was born July 13, 1926 the daughter of Harry Milton and Della Carter Hawkins. Mrs. Robbins was a native of Madison, NC and was an active member of the Berean Baptist Church in Randleman where she sang in the choir. She worked many years ago at Laughlin Hosiery Mill and more recently as a greeter with Wal-Mart in Asheboro. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son: Ernest W. Robbins and her grandson: Ernest W. Robbins, Jr. She is survived by her husband: Bill Robbins, Sr. of Randleman; son and his wife, Bill Robbins, Jr. and Trudy of Burlington, NC; 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; sister: Nancy Tarlton of Randleman, NC and brother: George Hawkins of Sophia, NC. The family will receive friends Monday, March 1, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Randleman with Rev. Joe L. Farlow officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
