Helen Louise Richardson

Helen Louise Fletcher Richardson, age 80, of Pleasant Garden died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the Randolph Hospice House. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Cranberry Creek Community Cemetery in Laurel Springs, NC. Mrs. Richardson was born in Sunbury, OH on February 15, 1934 to Sammie Taylor and Eula Compton Fletcher. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Charley Richardson, Sr., and step mother Ethel Grooms Fletcher. Helen will always be remembered as a wonderful Mother and MawMaw. She is survived by her sons, Charley Richardson and wife Renee of Asheboro, NC, Jesse Richardson of the home; daughters, Karen Barkley of Greensboro, NC, Betty Clark and husband David of Pleasant Garden, NC; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Roberta Morris and husband Bill of Sunbury, OH, and Nancy Jackson and husband Bob of Milford Center, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Randolph Hospice House, 446 Vision Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the Richardson family.
