ASHEBORO - Helen Cline Measamer, age 81, of Asheboro died Monday, July 20, 2009 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation Center, Asheboro.A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis with Rev. Marion Smith officiating. Mrs. Measamer was a native of Cabarrus County and retired from Acme-McCrary Corporation after 41 years of service. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Pugh and her husband Mac of Asheboro, Marty Marley and her husband Larry of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jonathan Pugh and his wife Maggie, William Pugh, Kaitlin, Kristin, Daniel, Robert and David Marley.The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:30-11:30 am at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to Bryan Alzheimer's Research Center, 2200 W. Main St., Durham, NC 27705. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs at both Woodland Hill Care and Rehabilitation Center and Cross Road Alzheimer's Unit.
