Helen Louise Lassiter

Helen Louise Lassiter, age 96, of Randleman died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Miss Lassiter was born April 25, 1919 the daughter of Thomas and Cordia Farlow Lassiter. Helen was a native of Randolph County and a member of First United Methodist Church in Randleman for 83 years. She was a graduate of Randleman High School in 1936 and an avid reader. Helen loved her cats and enjoyed feeding the wild animals and birds. In addition to her parents Helen is preceded in death by her sister Margaret Lassiter. She is survived by her double first cousin, Ruby Lassiter Culver of Randleman; and 6 cousins who loved her dearly. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of Jeannie and Paul Owens, 290 Wedgewood Forest Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jenna Grogan officiating. Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman is serving the Lassiter family.
