Helen Mae Holmes

Helen Mae Tippett Holmes, age 83, of Franklinville died Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mrs. Holmes was born in Greensboro, NC on November 19, 1929 to Robert Lee and Pearl Roann Tippett, who preceded her in death. She was retired from Ramtex and was a member of Franklinville United Methodist Church for many years. She is survived by her son, Greg Holmes of Franklinville; nieces, Janice Walton of Franklinville and Cheryl Robertson of California. The family will receive friends Friday, September 6, 2013 from 1:15-1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. Harold Hammond officiating. Burial will be in Franklinville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
