Helen Ann Dixon

Helen Ann Jessup Dixon, age 75, of Randleman died Friday, October 6, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Dixon was born January 2, 1942 the daughter of Aldie and Evie Stalker Jessup

Helen was a native of Randolph County and retired from Eveready Battery Company in Asheboro. She attended Midway Wesleyan Church and was a devoted Christian that loved the Lord. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her sons, Anthony and Kenneth Routh; son in law,Donnie Westmoreland and her sister, Lois Styne.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years: Elmer "Dean" Dixon of the home; daughter: Jacquelyn Westmoreland of Randleman; son: William Routh, Jr. and wife Willa of Randleman; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister: Thelma Johnson of Columbia, SC; brothers: Eugene Jessup of Manhattan, KS and Glenn Jessup of Randleman.

The family will receive friends Monday, October 9, 2017 from 12:30 – 1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Randleman Chapel, with Rev. J. Arnold Luther officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
