Helen Birchall

Helen Pegram Birchall, age 87, of Franklinville died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Birchall was born January 18, 1927 the daughter of Charles and Swanna Allred Pegram. Helen was a native of Guilford County and of Wesleyan faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Birchall is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Rev. Philip James Birchall, Sr., brothers: Bernard, Paul, Marshall and James Pegram. She is survived by her children: Charlotte Robb and her husband Jim of Franklinville; Charles and Andrew Birchall both of Nashville, TN., Philip Birchall, Jr. and his wife Vivian of Salisbury and David Birchall and his wife Phyllis of Franklinville; 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Greenway and her husband Jim of Greensboro. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 2:00-3:30 pm at Midway Wesleyan Church, 331 Worthville Rd., Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm with Rev. J. Arnold Luther and Rev. Jerry Lumstom officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
