Hazel "Granny" Latham, age 81, of 130 West Academy Street, Apt 205, Randleman died Monday, November 15, 2010 at High Point Regional Hospital, High Point.
Mrs. Latham was a native of Moore County and a member of Caraway Baptist Church. Hazel was retired from Jockey International.
She is survived by daughters: Becky Patterson and her husband, Otis of Franklinville, Vickie Boyd and her husband, Arnold of Asheboro; sons: Kirby Latham and his wife, Wilda of Franklinville, and Wayne Latham and his wife, Kitty of Randleman; brother: Odis Lucas of Asheboro; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and expected great great grandson.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of Kirby Latham, 3439 Bethany Church Rd., Franklinville. The funeral will be held Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Pastor Jim Honeycutt and Rev. Cecil Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Faith Temple Baptist Church Cemetery.
