Hazel Robbins Dorsett

Hazel Robbins Dorsett, age 94, formerly of Randleman, passed peacefully Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Blumenthal Jewish Home, Greensboro. Mrs. Dorsett was born June 27, 1916 in Randolph County, the daughter of Benny and Hanna Harper Robbins. Mrs. Dorsett was a native of Randolph County and a homemaker. She was a member of Congregational Christian Church of Randleman and enjoyed life, nature and many outdoor activities. Mrs. Dorsett was preceded in death by her husband; Leonard Vance Dorsett, her parents and all of her siblings. She is survived by her daughter; Peggy Dorsett Carter and her husband, Donald of Greensboro, grandson; Michael Scott Carter of and his wife, Heather Whittaker Carter and their daughter, Kendall Grey Carter all of Greensboro. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 21, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Jeff Freeman officiating.
